Test Manager and Test Resource — FDVU project, Forsvarsbygg

About the assignment

Forsvarsbygg (Norwegian Defence Estates Agency) is seeking two test resources (Test Manager and Test Resource/Test Analyst) to support the procurement, configuration, integration, migration and roll-out of new FDVU solutions for property, buildings and facilities (EBA). The resources will establish and implement a comprehensive test strategy, plan and coordinate test activities, and carry out hands-on test execution and follow-up of defects and deviations. The Test Manager has overall responsibility for quality management, test strategy and reporting to project management, while the Test Resource contributes operationally with test scenarios, test scripts and documentation. The resources may also be used on other projects and initiatives at Forsvarsbygg.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage quality management and testing in the FDVU project
• Prepare the test strategy, test plans and test procedures
• Coordinate test activities and report to project management
• Plan and carry out tests operationally, including test scenarios and test scripts
• Document test results and follow up defects and deviations
• Work closely with subject-matter experts, suppliers and other project members
• Assist with other projects and initiatives at Forsvarsbygg as required

Required skills

• Higher education in IT, computer science, engineering or equivalent (Test Manager)
• At least 5 years' experience as a test manager on large digitalisation or implementation projects
• Experience with test strategy, test plans, test procedures, deviation management and test reporting
• Experience of test management on projects with multiple system integrations, data migration and complex system landscapes
• ISTQB Test Manager, ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst or equivalent certification
• Experience in the procurement, implementation or further development of ERP and FDVU/EAM solutions
• Experience of test management on agile projects (Scrum, SAFe or equivalent)
• Experience from large digitalisation or transformation projects in the public sector
