About the assignment
Forsvarsmateriell (FMA) is contracting an SAP Solution Expert for the maritime services product team on behalf of DRIV, the IT department of Cyberforsvaret. The consultant will support the operation, configuration and security management and further development of Felles Integrert Forvaltningssystem (FIF), with a main focus on SAP DFPS and the deployed solution. The work includes coordinating releases and deployments to production, administering SAP Solman Charm/Retrofit, and developing the technical architecture and methodology for configuration management. The role requires close cooperation with internal teams and, where relevant, other departments and projects within Forsvaret (Norwegian Armed Forces), and the consultant must be eligible for security clearance at HEMMELIG/NATO SECRET level.
Responsibilities
Contribute to planning and configuration management of Forsvaret's SAP solution and system landscape, including coordinating technical deployment and release activities
Focus particularly on configuration management, operation and further development of the SAP DFPS deployed solution
Administer the SAP Solman Charm/Retrofit solution and ensure that changes and fixes in the production line are carried over to the project lines
Develop the technical architecture and methodology for configuration management
Coordinate releases to the production environment together with the Release Manager, support projects and prepare the release plan
Provide support with PI planning, design, development, testing and deployment of new features
Coordinate activities with ongoing projects
Actively transfer knowledge to Forsvaret in line with the work supervisor's instructions
Required skills
At least 5 years' experience with ABAP and development and design work in SAP
At least 10 years' experience with SAP ERP/ECC
In-depth knowledge of SAP Transportation Management System (TMS)
In-depth knowledge of SAP Change and Transport System (CTS) and CTS+
In-depth knowledge of SAP Solman Charm and/or Focus Build
Good knowledge of SAP technical architecture and SAP Basis
Excellent understanding of every step in the processes for setting up a DFPS deployed server, including replication mechanisms and structure element relationships
Experience with ABAP development for integrations, primarily MM, PM, iMRO and DFPS, across autonomous deployed servers and the central system
Experience with troubleshooting and correcting code in maintenance and supply planning across autonomous deployed servers and the central system
System-level technical knowledge of SAP DFPS in scenarios with autonomous/deployed solutions
Experience with troubleshooting master data transfer to autonomous servers based on UPS Fox Explosion PDR and iDOC
Functional understanding of interfaces that send data between the SAP autonomous deployed server and the home system (UPS Fox Explosion PDR and iDOC)
Familiarity with case management tools for logging incidents and following up errors
Experience with deploying new SAP solutions into existing SAP solutions
Good knowledge of change management, release, test and configuration management processes
Knowledge of new SAP systems, including S/4HANA technology
Good knowledge of and experience with SAP Solution Manager as an ALM tool
Experience with methodologies and frameworks (ITIL, DevSecOps, Agile, SCRUM, SAFe, SAP Activate)
Familiarity with ABAP Programming for SAP HANA and gCTS
Must be able to communicate in writing and orally in a Scandinavian language or English
Qualifications
The consultant must be eligible for security clearance at HEMMELIG / NATO SECRET level
An authorisation interview must be completed before the work can begin
A non-disclosure agreement must be signed before the assignment starts
The consultant must be able to communicate in writing and orally in a Scandinavian language (Norwegian/Swedish/Danish) or English
The consultant may not make statements to the press
A CV with references (name, phone, e-mail) must be attached to the bid

Workload: 100%
Up to 100% workload throughout the period
Start as soon as possible after 01.12.2026, no later than 01.01.2027 (subject to authorisation)
Up to 2000 hours from the start date until 31.12.2027
Option to extend by up to 3 years / 6000 hours, maximum duration until 31.12.2030
Place of work: DRIV's premises at Sjølystparken, Drammensveien 175-177, Oslo
The place of work may be moved within the Oslo/Akershus area without additional compensation
The consultant must follow the client's holiday arrangements
