Platform Engineer — Altinn Plattform Team

About the assignment

Digitaliseringsdirektoratet (Norwegian Digitalisation Agency, Digdir), Brukeropplevelse og datadeling (BOD) department, is seeking a senior Platform Engineer with specialist Kubernetes expertise for the Altinn Plattform Team. The consultant will work on the development, management and operation of the platform products for Altinn 3. The assignment requires experience with backend/infrastructure, Kubernetes operations and cross-functional DevOps work. This is a new role for one consultant, based at Digdir's offices in Oslo.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend/infrastructure for the platform products in Altinn 3
• Develop and maintain Kubernetes operators
• Operate and manage container-based applications in a Kubernetes-based cloud solution
• Operate and manage PostgreSQL databases
• Take part in a cross-functional, agile DevOps team and show initiative in your area of expertise

Required skills

• At least 5 years' documented experience as a Platform Engineer
• Documented experience in backend/infrastructure development – preferably Golang, Kubernetes, monitoring, GitOps and Terraform, as well as developing and maintaining Kubernetes operators
• Documented experience in operating and managing container-based applications in a Kubernetes-based cloud solution, as well as operating and managing PostgreSQL databases
• Documented experience of working in a cross-functional, agile DevOps team, being proactive and showing initiative in your area of expertise
• Must have a good command of Norwegian – both written and spoken
