Mobile app developers (iOS/Android) — MinID and ID wallet

About the assignment

Digitaliseringsdirektoratet (Norwegian Digitalisation Agency, Digdir) is seeking two consultants, one iOS expert and one Android expert, to further develop and maintain the native MinID mobile apps and a new wallet app for the national ID wallet pilot. The work covers functional and design improvements, as well as digital ID verification with document and biometric reading. Deliveries are coordinated between the product teams for MinID and the national ID wallet pilot, and the work follows agile methodology. The consultants will be integrated into Digdir's product teams and work full-time (100%) throughout the contract period.

Responsibilities

• Further develop and maintain the native MinID mobile apps for iOS and Android
• Develop a new app with wallet functionality, including digital ID verification with document and biometric reading
• Further develop a secure and user-friendly frontend for the pilot wallet from the national ID wallet pilot
• Coordinate deliveries between the product teams for MinID and the national ID wallet pilot
• Take part in agile development work in Digdir's product teams
• Take part in other activities requested by the Client within the scope of the agreement

Required skills

• Senior software developer with at least 3 years' relevant experience in mobile app development
• In-depth expertise in developing mobile apps with high requirements for security, accessibility and performance
• Native app development on iOS/Android
• Experience with secure APIs for app–mobile communication, both mobile-initiated and server-initiated
• Practical experience with solutions that address the OWASP Mobile Top 10 threats

Qualifications

• Must have a good command of Norwegian, both written and spoken, at minimum CEFR level B2
